I began breeding corn snakes in 2006 but owned snakes for years before that. My collection is small, currently seven adults and three keepers from the 2009 season, and all snakes are kept as pets with the breeding projects and hatchlings as extra fun that comes around every summer. I produce between one and four clutches a year simply for the joy of it. At the moment I am working on two breeding projects whose end goals are ultramel stripes and ultramel charcoals. Sadly, though, I do not know whether I will be able to continue breeding for the next few years. If I do this site will function as it has in the past but even if I do not Hot Jupiter Herps will persist in one way or another.
This hobby could not be more fun for me, and I love to hear from the owners of my snakes and any other corn snake enthusiasts. I always appreciate hearing from other enthusiasts and owners, whether they are updating on one of my own animals or simply contacting me with a question or comment.
I am certified to ship with FedEx but much prefer to hand my snakes off to buyers in person, either at an expo or at my house. That way not only do I get to meet the buyer and avoid the slight but appreciable risk of shipping live animals, but the buyer can personally observe the coloration and attitude of the snakes before buying.
